Whitetail Trails Lodge
Hunting is a major activity in our county and the surrounding areas. Coshocton County is always either the #1 or #2 county in the state of Ohio for taking whitetail deer. If you look closely at the image of Weekly Deer Taken during the current hunting season, you will see that this year Coshocton County is #1 in the state
Our farm is almost 250 acres, 150 of which is heavily wooded. The remaining acres are a combination of hay field and pasture for our livestock. Almost all of our farm is situated on a series of hills, valleys and ravines. We see deer in our fields pretty much each evening. We see flocks of turkey in the both the fall and spring hunting seasons. It is not at all uncommon to see an entire flock walking across the dirt roads which run through the lodge property.
We do NOT rent out our land to hunters. We reserve the right to hunt our land to only those who rent the Hideaway Suite during legal hunting seasons. We have weeks available during fall and spring turkey season, during fall and winter whitetail bow season, during the whitetail 'rut' season, during whitetail shotgun season, and during whitetail muzzle loader season. Please remember that during all hunting season weeks, we only rent out the Hideaway Suite, and we only allow 4 adults to stay in the suite. During whitetail deer bow season, we can accommodate up to 5 adults but only by prior arrangement.

"When we purchased the land, there was nothing on the land, not even a fence. Everything that is now built here we built ourselves.
